Well, not really easy. The cockies moved in to start eating from the start of January. A long dry summer this year meant lots of irrigating was needed and some of the nuts suffered sunburn. Yes believe it or not

A dry harvest period has resulted in a premium crop with clean nuts that we are very pleased to see. Now is the time to buy walnuts at their freshest.

After picking the small green fruits in November they have been pickled and packed  in our farm kitchen for the 2013 sales.  Niels and Max, from Germany help Carol with this year’s product.
